I am a fan of Mariah Carey, and this has been one of my favorite quotes from her. Not only is life a gift that we have all been given, but it is also an adventure. There are twists, turns, ups, downs, and even loops. Good and bad, highs and lows. However if you just sit back and never take any risks, try new things, or make the choice to get on and ride the roller-coaster of life, you won't get to experience the adventure.
Things are going to happen in life. You may see them coming or they may take you by surprise. You may even feel that at times your life has been turned upside down. But it will turn back around and you will look back and be glad you went through that crazy loop or down that steep hill. It makes you further appreciate your life and shows you just how much you can go through.
And then once you are on the ride of life, you must not disembark the ride until it has come to a full and complete stop. You may at times want to give up and get off the ride, but then again you are not going to experience the full ride and what awaits around the next turn. So jump in, buckle up, put your hands up, and enjoy the adventure of life!
