Honesty is a character trait that is a gift to the world to truly show people who you are. Being honest is not only something we learn as a child, but something we need to remind ourselves to be as adults. When you are honest with yourself and those around you, you create a relationship built on trust. You do not show a false sense of who you are and therefore allow people to get to know the real you.
We all know what it feels like to be lied to, or to think you know someone only to find out that they person they have been portraying was not truly them. And chances are when someone is not honest to you, you have a hard time seeing them in the same light you saw them in before. So be yourself and make it a point to always express honesty in your daily life. It will allow you to live a true, free, and happy life with people around you who are the same.
